Time for the edit part of Shoot & Edit.
It's also Before & After over at Pixel Perfect.
Here is my SOOC - Straight Out Of Camera
First thing I did was crop. Then, I made a custom white balance with the eye dropper tool. It took the redness out of the photo. Opened the photo in Camera Raw. Uped the exposure. Put the recovery to 100%. Uped the contrast, saturation, and clarity just a little. Then, resized & sharpened for the web.
Here they are side by side.

Absolutely GORGEOUS edit! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like them both!
ReplyDeleteWhat I really love about your edit is that you kept it simple and focused on enhancing the image vs. really photoshopping it to death. As a result, it's perfect! Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove them! While going through the other blogs in the challenge, it appears the lesson of the week is not to over edit and get it right in camera- which you did perfectly. When I saw your SOOC, I honestly didn't think it needed much done to it. The crop looks great!
