Life

With a lot that's happened this week, it really gave me a new appreciation for life and the cycle of it right now. Pawpaw was in the hospital with his heart and the news didn't sound good, but the nurse eased our mind with what the doctor said. I had to step back and take a look at things. Here I am making a person and one could have left us. That's just the way life is right now. Many people are born everyday, many die everyday. There are things you can do to extend your life expectancy - exercise, eat right, you also need a spiritual relationship, and a social life. So, knowing that these things extend your life later, why don't most of us do these things now? No one wants to die early. It's because we feel to good right now and we don't feel the effects of what we eat or don't exercise right away. We feel it later when it could be to late, and yet you don't want to die. You want to live, there's so much more to do and see, this can't be it.

There's a girl today who we talked to where her liver has to high an enzyme level and actually won't let her body heel a cut on her hand. It came from when she was younger binge eating and drinking. She's only in her mid 30's. It's nothing that can't be fixed naturally, but she can never have a drink again. Also, knowing how a heart bypass works, why would anyone want to get clogged arties in their heart and have to get their chest bone sawed in half?
It all comes down to, the choices we make now will affect us in a good or bad way later. I don't know about you, but if I have to die in this system later, I would want to go out like my great grandmother. She was mid 90s and chose when she wanted to go. She could have lived longer, if she wanted, but she was tired and was ready to go. She said she had a full life. If we should all be as lucky. Not to have to depend on a doctor to live.
Thought for the day.

Jon comes home tonight, yay!
