Getting a New Lens and Flash, Need your help!

I haven't been on because I was super sick yesterday. The worst I felt all week and lost my voice last night. This morning still feeling some better. I don't have any new photos to post.. I know you're sad lol.
But, I need your help. I'm going to buy a new lens and flash. I'm going to get the 50mm f1.8. I'm kind of stuck on a flash. What's a good one to buy? I shoot with a Canon Rebel XSI. I'm also thinking about a macro lens. Any good suggestions there, that aren't to expensive? Thanks for your help!

This is my edit for shoot and edit. I'm sorry I can't really remember what I did. I edited two days ago and all my energy yesterday went to taking care of Alexis. I hope she doesn't get this..

5 Wonderful Comments:

  1. The flash is easy - get the Canon 430 EX II flash - that's what I use. Do not get the lower end model! You can get the higher one if you want, but the 430 EX II is great!

  2. I'm just learning all the DSLR ins and outs so I'm no help, but I love the photo.

  3. My husband just recently gave me the 50mm 1.4 and I'm still learning to adjust with it being a prime lens but I love it! I'm still researching about flash, too so I would love to see what others recommend to you. Good luck!
